In 2019, Mr Eelko Ronner (PhD), a professional cardiologist, founded Zoekbeter BV (which trades under the name Corbotics) with the objective of improving heart diagnostics through the use of robotics and artificial intelligence. The first product under development by is the BedBasedEcho, a device that generates high-quality heart echoes without the involvement of a specialized cardiac sonographer.

At present, Corbotics consists of the following persons:



  • Eelko Ronner

    MD PhD (Cardiologist)

    Mr Ronner is the founder and sole share-holder of both Zoekbeter BV (which uses the trade name Corbotics) and Cardio Holding BV, which owns the intellectual property rights related to the Bed-BasedEcho. He is an experienced cardiologist at the Reinier de Graaf Gasthuis in Delft, the Netherlands, and has experience in managing research consortia for the development of medical products. He is also project manager of a research consortium at Eindhoven Technical University, which was recently awarded grants over EUR 2 million.

  • Robert Riezebos

    MD PhD FESC (Cardiologist)

    Mr Riezebos is the head of the department of Cardiology at the Onze Lieve Vrouwe Gasthuis in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology. He is an interna-tionally recognized expert on non-invasive imaging and clinical cardiology.

  • Kenrick Trip

    Mechanical Engineer

    Mr Trip was lead engineer for the develop-ment of the hardware of Prototype 1.0 of the BedBasedEcho.

  • Nick van Stijn

    Software Engineer

    Mr Van Stijn was responsible for developing and testing of the software for Prototype 1.0 of the BedBasedEcho.

  • Corbotics is currently searching for an experienced Business Developer / Marketing Expert to further strengthen the management team, as well as additional mechanical and software engineers.
